Commonwealth Power is dedicated to providing quality, affordable solar solutions in DC, Virginia, and Maryland, with the goal of reducing the long-term emissions and cost of energy for our clients. Using sustainable technologies, we place a high value on client relationships and having a lasting positive impact on our community.
Our team is now over 40 strong, with dozens of years of combined experience in any solar configuration possible. This year, we are crossing 50 MW of rooftop, canopy, and ground mount solar arrays directly installed by our team.
Chris Page
Chris is the founder and president of Commonwealth Power. He is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, from strategic planning to construction coordination and everything in between. Chris has an undergraduate business degree from UVA, over a decade of experience in the solar energy industry, and a drive to have a positive, lasting difference in his community. He is a master electrician, a certified tradesman in Alternative Energy Systems in Virginia, OSHA 30-certified, and a NABCEP Certified Solar PV Installation Professional. When he’s not in the office, Chris enjoys his time with his wife, their two young children and their two rescue dogs.
Lauren Noe
Lauren Noe serves as the Director of Operations and coordinates administrative and logistical aspects of projects, making sure both the office and field staff have what they need to succeed. With undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Virginia and over ten years of experience in design and environmental consulting, Lauren is proud to help grow the clean energy profile in Virginia and beyond. When not at work, Lauren enjoys taking fitness classes, reading, golfing, and spending time with her two beloved poodles
Caleb Smith
Caleb Smith is Commonwealth Power’s Divisional Director. He oversees our Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland projects, coordinating projects at all stages, from planning to permission to operate. Caleb has a BS in Integrated Science and Technology with a concentration in energy and environment from James Madison University. Caleb is OSHA 30 certified and has four years of solar experience with Commonwealth Power. When not at work you can find Caleb floating the river, on a beach, or in the mountains.
Alex Dube
Alex Dube is Commonwealth Power’s Preconstruction Project Coordinator. He coordinates engineering, permitting, interconnection, and procurement from the onset of the project. He works to evaluate technical problems, develop solutions, and communicate with clients to ensure construction goes smoothly. When not at work, you can find Alex out exploring the Virginia wilderness, or at home reading and playing music.
Alek Sas
Alek is Commonwealth Power’s Development Coordinator. He oversees customer sales, end-to-end processes, and project optimization. He researches, identifies, and proposes potential markets, financing, and technologies to optimize the solar transition. Outside work you’ll find him rock climbing, writing, or playing the saxophone.
