Körber Technologies
To reduce energy costs and achieve sustainable production in all their facilities, Körber Technologies picked Commonwealth Power LLC to engineer, design, and install a 1.1MWDC rooftop solar array on their Richmond, VA headquarters.
The Preserve
Commonwealth Power worked with Spy Rock Real Estate Group to design, engineer, and install solar on three rooftops at an occupied multi-family apartment complex. Having successfully worked around tenants’ busy lives, complex roof layouts, and facility operations at this site, we are expanding our multifamily solar portfolio to help our real estate partners reach Net Zero emissions by 2026.
Fairfield Lee Solar
Commonwealth Power partnered with URE to complete the low voltage electrical scope on this 6.6 MW site near Lexington, Virginia. Working around winter rains and deep mud, our team gained invaluable experience managing a multi-acre, multi-month project as the Virginia Shared Solar program comes online.
Audi Field
Working with New Columbia Solar and Commonwealth Power, Audi Field in Washington DC made the transition to solar in the spring of 2020. Using over 1700 modules across the stadium’s canopies and main building, this is a stunning and prominent installation overlooking the Anacostia River.
C.F. Sauer Center
Sauer Properties partnered with Commonwealth Power in 2019 to engineer and install seven ornamental solar carports and two roof top arrays on the 2000 West Marshall redevelopment in downtown Richmond. Modelled after the historic train station in Scott’s Addition, we gave our installation a classical look.
